At 3rd Rock we take our accommodations seriously. The planned hotel accommodations are noted within the itinerary and were selected based on ratings and location. The final selection will be based upon availability at the time of booking. Quality and Cleanliness are always our first priority. We also take into consideration food services, location, price and other available services. Our standard Rooms are twin rooms with 2 beds in each room. If you have requested a single room you may have 1 or two beds in your room. We do not book triple rooms. Ultimately the room selection is at the discretion of the hotel’s management. We will accommodate special requests such as connecting rooms, smoking rooms or bed types whenever possible.
When checking into a hotel, please have a seat in the lobby and wait patiently for your tour director to get everyone checked in. Your tour director may ask for you passports during this process.
Mini bars are a double edged sword, although convenient they may also be problematic when checking out in the morning. If you remove anything from your mini bar, even if you only pick it up to look at it and then return it to its previous place, please confirm with the front desk before you have breakfast and settle with them any amounts due. Many mini bars work off sensors and simply picking something up may incur a charge. When your tour director does the final check out, they will check every room to see if there are any outstanding charges. You will be accountable for any charges charged to your room. Resolving these issues at the last minute may result in a delayed departure – the consequences of which could effect activities all day long.
