DAY 1: Thu – Feb 16, 2017 – Depart from JFK

  • Board your international flight from the USA to reach Morocco in the next day. 2 Meals will be served on board of the flight.

DAY 2: Fri – Feb 17, 2017 – Arrival to Casablanca

  • Arrival in Casablanca, the economical capita of the Moroccan Kingdom and the commercial heart of the region.
  • Upon arrival, the guest will meet the Right Travel representative who will be your friendly caring companion for the rest of the trip.
  • Today discover the wonders of Casablanca for a wonderful day. The first stop of the day will be at the Ain Diab Corniche, a wonderful series of natural beaches which is quite popular among Moroccans and tourists all the same.
  • Our next visit will be to the Habous Quarter, the old section of the city, Constructed by the French in the 1930s as a modern commercial center and it is the old market of Casa offering marvelous shopping experiences.
  • Stop at local restaurant for lunch (cost of lunch is not included)
  • It is the time now to explore the Royal Palace of Casablanca, an amazing architectural achievement which is the residence of the nobles in Morocco.
  • The last visit of the day will be to the Mohamed V Square built in 1920, this arena is the heart of the city and one of the most important attractions of Casa
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Casablanca.

DAY 3: Sat – Feb 18, 2017 – Casablanca, Rabat, Fes

  • Breakfast at the hotel, check out and board our private bus, our first stop today will be at the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most charming Islamic constructions in the whole world. Wonder around the mosque to take memorable photos and for the best views of the Atlantic Ocean from Morocco.
  • Board our bus to go from Casablanca to Rabat, 93 kilometers to the North East, about an one hour drive which will include an orientation for the rest of the trip. Our first stop of the tour of Rabat, the Moroccan Capital and one of the most interesting destinations in North Africa, will be at the Kasbah of the Udayas, a wonderful historical fortress built during the reign of the Almohad dynasty in the 12th century.
  • Continue to the Mohammed V Mausoleum, completed just in 1971 it is considered a masterpiece of modern Alaouite dynasty architecture.
  • Stop at local restaurant for lunch (cost of lunch is not included)
  • Continue to Fez for dinner at our hotel and overnight

DAY 4: Sun – Feb 19, 2017 – Fes City Tour

  • After breakfast, it is time to explore the most popular highlights of the city of Fes. The first visit of this day will be to the historical mosque and university of Jamaa Al Karaouine, a huge ancient mosque constructed in the 8th century over a surface area of around 3000 meters and it is considered to be the first teaching institution founded in the region.
  • The next step in the day will be at another marvelous Islamic structure. The Madrasa Bouanania, which was built in the 13th century as one of the most amazing architectural achievements of the Marinid dynasty.
  • Stop at local restaurant for lunch (cost of lunch is not included)
  • In the afternoon, we will be visiting the old markets of Fes, where the guests will enjoy exploring the clay workshops, artisan quarters, and souks of largest and oldest medina in Morocco. Named Fes El Bali, one of the attractive traditional markets. Many of the travelers who go on tours to Morocco often love to do some shopping in the country.

DAY 5: Mon – Feb 20, 2017 – Fes, Meknes, Volubilis, Fes

  • After breakfast, depart to the small city of Mawlai Idriss, where Idriss, first settled in Morocco in the 8th century and established a dynasty as well as he started the construction of the city of Fes.
  • Proceed to visit Voulibilis, an ancient Moroccan city located near Meknes and one of the famous touristic attractions of the country.
  • in our way to Meknes we will stop by Bab El Mansour Gate, completed in 1973 and considered to be the most marvelous gate in the whole region of Northern Africa.
  • Continue to the Harri Souani stables, located near Bab El Mansour and constructed in the 17th century, this is the horses stables of Mawlai Ismail and the complex also contains huge storage rooms.
  • Stop at local restaurant for lunch (cost of lunch is not included)
  • Our next stop will be at the Royal Palace of Meknes, constructed in the 19th century and became a military college afterwards. It is now among the most important touristic attractions of the city.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Fes.

DAY 6: Tue – Feb 21, 2017 – Fes, Ifrane, Benni Mellal, Marrakech

  • After breakfast, travel from Fes to Marrakech. During the way, we will have a marvelous chance to explore Ifrane, the Switzerland of Africa as nicknamed by many Moroccans for its beautiful weather, magnificent villas, and wonderful natural scenery.
  • Our next stop during our trip will be at Benni Mellal, one of the most ancient human settlements in Northern Africa that offers the guests an amazing atmosphere that is hard to find anywhere else.
  • Stop at local restaurant for lunch (cost of lunch is not included)
  • Reach Marrakech, 529 kilometers away from Fes, it is one of the most ancient cities in Morocco with many wonderful monuments and great visits.
  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Marrakech.

DAY 7: Wed – Feb 22, 2017 – Marrakech, City Tour

  • Marrakech. The first visit of the tour of the city of Marrakech will be to the Jemaa El Fna Square, the most popular touristic attraction in the city of Marrakech with many traditional Moroccan performances and an ambience that is never found except in this ancient square established 10 centuries ago.
  • The next visit will be to explore the Koutoubia Minaret, built in the middle of the 12th century Abdel Moomen Ben Ali, on the ruins of a much older palace that was built during the AlMoravid dynasty, the mosque is one of the largest and most significant in Northern Africa.
  • Visit the Bahia Palace, constructed during the reign of the Alaouite dynasty in the 19th century as a royal residence and became a highlight of the city ever afterwards.
  • The last stop of the day will be to the Saadian Tombs built at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century as the royal tombs which is featured with its wonderful decoration and intelligent architecture.

  • At the end of our tour we will be transferred to the Souks, or the markets, of the old city of Marrakech, to do some remarkable shopping in the city to buy gifts and souvenirs for their beloved ones.

DAY 8: Thu – Feb 23, 2017 – Marrakech Free Day

  • Free morning in Marrakech, or you may participate in our optional tour (Over Day Essaouira $50 P.P), travel to Essaouira, a seaside resort city on Morocco Atlantic Coast. Along the way, stop at the Marjana Co-Operative to view traditional methods of extracting Argan Oil. The demand for the oil has grown drastically due to its heavy use in cosmetics and cuisine in the West. Continue to Essaouira, whose medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an excellent example of a fortified North African town. Spanish cannons still line the battlements while parasols dot the harbors beaches, creating a remarkably picturesque setting. You will walk along the city ramparts just north of Moulay Hassan Square where local artists sell their paintings. Continue to the Skala de la Ville, which is a fortification built along the cliffs that defended the city from sea attacks, but now provides visitors with an unparalleled view of the port and its bright-colored fishing boats. In the Medina, artisans and craftsmen practice their trades as they have for hundreds of years. Explore the many souks in the medina, including the spice and jewelry souks. The city is also famed for hosting the Gnaoua World Music Festival, which draws musicians from across the world who come to play with the Gnaoua mystics
  • Evening enjoy the Fantazia Show and dinner. Discover all the fun and excitement of Moroccan folklore at the Fantasia Moroccan Dinner and Cultural Show. Presented in the heart of a Marrakech palm grove, under the shelter of exotic Berber tents, the show is a dazzling, multi-colored extravaganza, accompanied by a typical Moroccan feast served in an open-air setting. Seated on cushions encircling the show arena, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal and be serenaded by a chorus of girls and boys in traditional dress, accompanied by typical Arabian music.
