Day 1: Travel to Dijon France

Your journey begins with a warm welcome from our local representative after you arrive in the city of Dijon. From there we will travel to our hotel in Beaune, a truly enchanting medieval town. Spend the rest of the day recovering from the flight as you relax in our hotel, or adventure out into Old Town Beaune. The Hotel-Dieu, a medieval hospital makes one of the most breathtaking sites with its beautiful architecture. Dinner will be on your own and with so many prime examples of the cuisine of the South of France just a short stroll from the hotel, you’re sure to end your first evening satisfied and happy.

Day 2: Travel to Burgundy

Burgundy is well known as prime wine country; in fact, wine is “le raison d’etre” there. Our day in the renowned region will take us to celebrated wineries. There amidst rolling hills and vineyards we’ll taste wine and tour the grounds. Cote de Beaune, Puligny Montrachet, Meursault, and Pommard make the list for our stops.Hotel Beaune, B, L

Day 3: Travel to Lyon

Breakfast precludes our journey to the city Lyon, nestled in the Rhones-Alpes where it sits as the region’s capital. Our visit begins with a walking tour of the city, which will last half the day. Our tour ends at the city’s center, near our hotel. The late afternoon and early evening is another chance for you to spend time on your own in the city. This is another great opportunity to sample local restaurants for dinner. Lyon has great bistros or any number of “Michelin-starred” restaurants. Lyon is home to the famous chef, Paul Bocuse, whose culinary innovations are truly delicious and beloved. Our accommodations will be the hotel La Cour des Loges or a similar hotel. Hotel Lyon B

Day 4: Continued Visit in Lyon

After breakfast we tour more of Lyon, traveling by car to Fourviere hill and the roman theater, which is one of the most ancient and spectacular pieces of architecture in all of France. Lunch today is truly a treat: we’ll take a cooking class in the home a local chef, preparing and enjoying some amazing dishes topped off with wine. The rest of the day is low key, and our accommodations remain the same.

Day 5: Travel to Nice

First breakfast, then we travel to Nice. Along the way we stop in Saint Tropez, spending some time along the cobblestone streets as we enjoy the picturesque nature of the French coast, Cote D’Azure. After our stop we’ll continue our journey to Nice, finally reaching the La Promenade de Anglais and our hotel. Our accommodations will be Hotel La Perouse or similar. Hotel Nice, B, L

Day 6: Travel to Eze and Monaco

We’ll enjoy breakfast before our half-day trip taking us to Eze and to Monaco. Our drive winds along the scenic coast until we reach the village Eze, nestled high atop a hill. After we spend some time exploring, we’ll cross into the Principality of Monaco where we will enjoy the allure and glamor of Monte Carlo. Our day ends with the trip back to Nice and our hotel. Day 7: Nice, Excursions

Our trip take a relaxing turn today. After breakfast you’ll have to option to travel to Grasse, well known as a capital for making perfume. If that doesn’t grab your attention, spend the day enjoying the chic beach clubs. No matter how you spend the day, be sure to try some of the fresh seafood and local Champagne for dinner. Day 8: Travel Home

Our journey in the South of France concludes. We’ll enjoy one last breakfast before parting ways as you are taken to the Nice-Cote D’Azure airport for your return flight home.
